He was introduced to the pair - one 18 and the other 32 - by ex-girlfriend Lucy Mullen and took all three back to his Ј500,000 flat in Ealing, West London, at 4.30am. But Isleworth crown court heard Hann stripped to his waist and mocked the teenager for looking like «an alien from Star Trek» before sexually assaulting her in the lounge after Mullen had passed out in a bedroom. It was claimed he then thrust a TV remote control up older woman’s skirt, made insulting remarks and drew blood punching and kicking her as she tried to leave while the fleeing 18-year-old rang police on her mobile. Hann, who told officers the women were out to get him because he was famous, denies sexual assault, common assault and ABH.

Griff: PAVILIONS ARE SNOOKER LOOPY AT AWARD OF EVENT Professional snooker will return to Plymouth after an absence of five years following news that the Plymouth Pavilions will stage the opening round of the forthcoming Premier League Snooker Championship in September. Plymouth used to regularly welcome the world's best snooker players when the Pavilions hosted the British Open Snooker Championship. But the British Open moved from Plymouth in 2000 and since then city snooker supporters have been starved of seeing their heroes in action. That, though, will change this September when Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, Jimmy White and top Chinese player Ding Jun Hui come to Plymouth on Thursday, September 15. Premier League Snooker, which is held in association with Betfred.com and Sky Sports, tours the country playing at different venues. Each season it features seven of the world's top players who battle it out in a league structure before progressing to a knockout stage. Premier League Snooker follows the same format as Premier League Darts, which visited the Pavilions for the first time in April. The only difference in snooker is that not all seven players compete at each venue. At most venues there are only two 12 frame matches involving four players. When the league visits Plymouth, world number one O'Sullivan will take on world number two Hendry, while former Pavilions favourite White will take on Jun Hui. The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. Pavilions spokesman Robert Maltby is delighted to see snooker returning to the venue, which is fast establishing itself as a favourite with Sky Sports, who have broadcast both darts and boxing from there in recent years. Maltby said: "Plymouth Pavilions is really being noticed across the UK as a venue that doesn't just put on a great show and gigs, but a venue that can host world class sporting events and deal with the requirements of live national TV coverage. "We've had darts, boxing, basketball and now we are pleased to announce Premier League Snooker. "This event has to be the sporting highlight of the year. "We've got the world's best snooker players all under one roof providing some of the best matches you'll see this year." Premier League Snooker promoter Ken Uppleton insists the players are delighted to be returning to Plymouth again. "The players all love Plymouth," he said. "They always talk about Plymouth in the backroom. Like the Crucible, Plymouth is one of their favourite venues. "The players that we will be bringing down don't need much introduction. "The only one who people might not be too familiar with is Ding Jun Hui. It is his first year in the league, but he is the Asian champion. "Premier League Snooker goes out to 100 countries and it is really big in Asia. It's good for the league to have an Asian player. "Hopefully the fixture at Plymouth is not just for this year but for the next few years as well. "It will be the first match of the new league and so all eyes will be on the city." He added: "The league is in its 20th season but for the first time last year it went out live on Sky Sports between January and May. "We played to sell-out crowds right across the country. "We really wanted to come to Plymouth last season, but we could not match a date up. "But we are delighted to be coming down for the new season. We recognise the city as one of the best places for snooker." Premier League Snooker has a time limit on how long players can take between shots, which proved extremely popular with spectators when it was introduced last season.
Griff: Stars On Cue For New Event By Kevin Hughes Wednesday 6th July 2005 "Snooker's top stars are cueing up for a trip to Belfast next month to play for big money and the brand new Northern Ireland Trophy, with close to a hundred million people watching them live on television. Invitations have been sent out to the world's top 16 and the odds are that world champion Shaun Murphy will be joined by many of the recognised greats - Ronnie O'Sullivan, Steve Davis, Jimmy White, John Higgins, Stephen Hendry and Ken Doherty among them. And, with four wild cards to take part in a preliminary round of the tournament, it's hoped that the locals will able to cheer on the likes of Joe Swail and Patrick Wallace, as well as see world amateur champion Mark Allen make his professional debut. There's even speculation they may ask Alex Higgins to dust down his cue to take part, although that's unlikely. Supported by Belfast City Council and Northern-Ireland Events Company, the Northern Ireland Trophy is a brand new invitational event to be contested by 20 leading players at the Waterfront Hall from Wednesday-Sunday, August 17-21. And thanks to World Snooker's partnership with satellite channel Eurosport, live action from the Belfast tournament will be beamed to an estimated 95 million homes in 51 different territories."
